She belongs to leading Polish surgeons performing corneal transplantations, including anterior and posterior lamellar and penetrating transplantations (nearly 100 procedures a year).
Since 2004, she has been working at the Chair of Ophthalmology, Medical University of Lublin. She specializes in the surgery of cornea, cataract and anterior eye segment. She performs about 1,000 cataract surgeries per year, including complicated and subluxated cataracts. She also performs reconstructions of anterior eye segment, transplantations of amniotic membrane, treatment of keratoconus and enucleations with an implant.
She is a specialist in diagnosis and treatment of dry eye syndrome and keratoconus, including cross-linking procedures. In subjects with significant vision defects, she performs qualifications and surgical treatment, e.g. refractive lens exchange and phakic lens implantation.
She participated in numerous internships and training sessions in Poland and abroad, including Moorfields Hospital in London. She is a co-author of numerous publications and speeches at national and international conferences. Since 2013, she has been a consultant with regard to anterior eye diseases at the Provincial Ophthalmological Hospital in Kraków. At the Medical Group of Professor Zagórski, she holds the position of the Medical Manager at the Eye Surgery Centre in Nałęczów.
